Big caveat: I don’t like matcha and never really have. So read this as a review of the execution, not the idea - and the execution is accurate. They nailed it. That earthy, green, faintly bitter thing matcha does is all present.
Matti had never had matcha before this and described it as dirt water. Her full version: like eating some grass and then swallowing it down with dirt, and then water. Matcha lovers are going to hate that description.
If matcha is your thing, add three or four points and go find these. They did the job. The job just wasn’t for us.
