It smells like a candle. Genuinely lovely - calming, even. Then you eat it.
What follows is medicinal and extremely tart, with a grittiness running underneath that I could not stop noticing. Real cranberry sauce is tart, so I suppose the target was hit. That doesn’t make it something you want inside a cookie.
I almost had to spit it out. At the time this was the lowest I’d ever rated an Oreo - lower than the Sour Patch Kids one, which I’d have told you was untouchable at the bottom. That record did not survive the next cookie in the box.
